We wish you a warm welcome at “kop noch staart” and would like to inform you about our terms and conditions.

• general

  Wannes Wyffels & Hanne Bellekens are the owners and managers of “kop noch staart”. The owners can be replaced by a family member or an acquaintance, if this is necessary due to circumstances. These general terms and conditions & house rules apply to all users of “kop noch staart”, and come into force with the confirmation of the reservation.

  Tenants must have a permanent place of residence or residence and be at least 18 years old. Guests must follow the instructions of the managers regarding the use and safety of the building. The managers can deny and/or refuse guests access to “kop noch staart” in the event of violation of these general terms and conditions and in the event of inappropriate behaviour, without further notice and without giving reasons and without reimbursement of accommodation costs. The administrators' administration is decisive in the event of a difference of opinion, unless the users can prove otherwise. Guests of “kop noch staart” must adhere the house rules below.

• reservation & confirmation

  The rental agreement can be made (based on availability) verbally, by telephone, by e-mail (hallo@kopnochstaart.be) or by the reservationform on the website (www.kopnochstaart.be).

  After receiving your reservation request, “kop noch staart” sends a confirmation by e-mail with a payment request. At that time, the reservation is “in option” and the days you have chosen will be kept free for you. If the payment has not been received by “kop noch staart” within the set period, the reservation is final. You will receive notification of this by e-mail. If payment is not received within the set period, the option and the reservation request will expire.

  When making a reservation, the number of people who will use '“kop noch staart” must always be stated correctly. In the case of an overnight stay with children, the age of the child(ren) must be stated in the reservation request. The room can accommodate a maximum occupation of 4 people. It is not allowed to spend the night and/or stay in the room with more than 4 people. This number applies regardless of the age of the person staying in the room.

  In case of violation of the and/or maximum occupancy indicated on the reservation form, “kop noch staart” will charge 200% of the rate applicable at that time per violation, in addition to the accommodation costs already due.

• prices

  The rates include gas, water, electricity, heating, VAT and tourist tax. The rates do not include the costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other costs. “kop noch staart” rates are always without obligation and are subject to interim changes. All statements on our website are deemed to have been provided in good faith and are always subject to adjustments. “kop noch staart” is not bound by obvious errors on its website. The current rates can be found under 'prices' on our website.

• payment

  All accommodation costs must be paid within 7 days after the reservation request. In exceptional cases and only in consultation, the accommodation costs can be paid in cash or via Payconic upon arrival.

• cancellation

  Up to 28 days before the day of arrival there is a 100% refund. Between day 28 and day 14, a refund of 50% of the total reservation amount applies. The last 14 days before the day of arrival, no refund will be made. It is advisable to take out cancellation insurance.

• check in

  On the day of arrival you are welcome in your accommodation between 4 pm and 10 pm. It is possible to arrive later, but in consultation. If possible, luggage can be brought to us earlier.

• check out

  Check-out is possible until 11:00 am on the day of departure. Depending on the occupancy, a different check-out time can be arranged in consultation with and after permission. However, the guideline remains 11:00 am.

  No refund will be made in case of early departure.

• respect for the neighbours

  “Kop nog staart” is located in a quiet street in Halle-Zoersel. We kindly ask our guests not to cause any inconvenience. All music – and any other sound – produced in any way must be tuned to room strength, so that no noise nuisance is created for local residents and is prohibited from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. in any case. Music outside is not allowed.

• visit

  Use of “kop noch staart” by persons other than the tenants is not permitted.

• pets

  Pets are not allowed.

• smoking

  It is forbidden to smoke in the building at “kop noch staart”. You can smoke on the terrace if safety is not compromised. The terrace must remain free of butts. You can find an ashtray on the terrace. The misuse of fire/extinguishing equipment or disabling the smoke detector is not permitted.

• parking

  You can park your car free of charge in the designated parking spaces at “kop noch staart”. Parking is only allowed for the duration of the stay. Bicycles can also be parked for free in our garage. We are not responsible for theft and/or any form of damage to your car or bicycle. Parking on the grounds at “kop noch staart” is at your own risk.

• stay

  We kindly ask you to treat the inventory and furniture properly during your stay.

  During your stay, towels and bed linen are provided and changed as desired. You can also use our soap and care products. The costs of this are included in the price unless other agreements have been made about this.

  A first aid kit is provided.

• damage

  “Kop noch staart” is in no way responsible for any form of damage, loss or theft that you have or experience during your stay at “kop noch staart”. If damage is caused to the accommodation or its furnishings during your stay, you must inform the notify and reimburse administrators. The managers of “kop noch staart'“ are not responsible for loss of personal property and personal injury.

  In case of disputes, all (legal) costs are for the users’ account.

• alcohol & drugs

  Alcohol abuse is prohibited, so enjoy, but drink in moderation. It is absolutely forbidden to possess, use and/or deal drugs.

• internet

  “kop noch staart” offers a WIFI guest network. The user will refrain from visiting websites that are of an unlawful nature or that are not in line with the reputation of “kop noch staart” as a provider of the accommodation. If nuisance from third parties and/or (other) internet abuse is detected or suspected by the user, “kop noch staart” has the right to block access to the internet, whether or not completely, without further notice.

• Precautionary measures

  It is not allowed to light candles in the building. Own cooking appliances such as gourmet, fondue, raclette, ... are not allowed because of the odor nuisance. To avoid damage to the building, it is not allowed to move furniture.
